Talk page signing, function, and etiquette
editFirst, please note that when you leave a comment on a talk page (like you have done at Talk:My Lai massacre), please be sure to sign the end of your message by typing four tildas (~~~~). That will automatically add your name and the date you added the message.
Second, please read my notes on that talk page, and also the link to WP:NOTFORUM, which explains that Wikipedia does not allow talk pages to be used as general discussion sites. Doing so can result in your comments being removed.
Finally, it is against our policy to make personal attacks against other editors, as you did by calling me a "smart ass" and a "hacker". Please see WP:NPA. Continued attacks against other editors can result in your editing privileges being blocked. Qwyrxian (talk) 20:53, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
