Nice. Now you have to go make some edits on unlocked articles to get auto confirmed so you never have to bow to the locked page again. You also might want to make a mention here or at the article talk page so you don't get accused of gaming the system by some chicken little.Cptnono (talk) 23:26, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Uploading pictures I've taken to use in articles edit

{{helpme}} I believe I've created a few nice photos that I'd like to use in articles. I'm not sure where to begin in this process but am sure that I can't just slap a link up to photobucket. :) Help please? And thank you. --0nonanon0 (talk) 23:36, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you own the copyright on the photos, and you're willing to release them under a free license, then you should upload them to Wikimedia Commons. Just create a commons account and click on "upload file" in the left sidebar. Algebraist 23:40, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
By own the copywright, if I have taken the picture myself and never released it commercially or anything like that, do I have to do anything to obtain a copywright? Thanks for the response. --0nonanon0 (talk) 23:43, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
No, in most cases you automatically own the copyright to works you create yourself. Exceptions would include, for instance, photos of 2D artworks still covered by copyright, in which case the original artist would be the copyright holder. The Image Casebook on Commons provides more information. Regards, DoktorMandrake 00:10, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Great thanks a lot you two! :) --0nonanon0 (talk) 01:34, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Eco terrorism edit

I'm trying to turn over a new leaf (or chunk of copper ripped from the belly of mother earth) and be nicer. Still hate POV though so lets figure this out. Cptnono (talk) 04:59, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Question about edit edit

In this edit you state in your edit summary that "inappropriate subcats have been fixed. restoring cats like any normal article". I can see that you are readding several appropriate categories that I assume was taken out in a previous inappropriate edit, however, you also remove Category:1977 establishments in the United States. Was this intentional? I have reinstored this category now. __meco (talk) 09:11, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Oops! Good catch, thank you. :) 0nonanon0 (talk) 23:22, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
