i'm just trying this function----

Greetings 0101miniho06, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I noticed your page on recent-change patrol, and I noticed that it had a speedy delete tag on it, and that you posted on the article's talk page asking for advice. Here are two possible solutions:
  1. Immediately add a fairly strong statement of the notability/significance of the organisation (then it would no longer be deletable as CSD A7, "article does not state the notability of the subject.") Once you do that one of us can remove the tag.
  2. Work on it in your user space instead, for example at User:0101miniho06/Hong Kong Human Rights Monitor, and then copy it to the main article space when you are done.
I'm aware of the classroom project you are all doing, since it was posted on the administrator's noticeboard a few days ago.

Thank you very much for your advice! I hope I can do what you have suggested... but I am in doubt~ :P 0101miniho06 03:39, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Greetings again! I removed the speedy tag since I feel the article asserts notability. You still should probably list some of the organisation's accomplishments and how they have made a difference in Hong Kong. Have fun! :-) Antandrus (talk) 03:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you again!!! I can't imagine that I am actually talking to a person that has the authority to delet and keep the page... It is amazing! Some other people will also be working on it. But I have just added some information which will show the significance of this organization. Still a lot to be done... -.- 0101miniho06 04:01, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:HKHRM logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:HKHRM logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:06, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

I have tagged as fair use rather than public domain, as this seems more likely. Fair use will be adequate to cover the use we're currently making of it, although public domain would permit other use. If you can show that it's public domain then by all means change the tag back. Thanks. Arbitrary username 12:55, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
