Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Persian Gulf for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. @Wikaviani: I said about the title of article. I did not say general talk. This title is wrong. Don't cancel my comment, please. I won't write this comment again without your assent.--Albraa Saleh (talk) 19:38, 22 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
@البراء صالح: Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia works primarily with consensus and with what the mainstream of reliable sources say, this is why the title of the article is "Persian Gulf" and not "Arabian Gulf", this has nothing to do with Wikipedia being against the Arab people. Feel free to go back ont the article's talk page, open a discussion while providing reliable sources and try to achieve a consensus for a name change. If you succeed, then the name of the article can be changed. If you need any further help or if you have any question, please don't hesitate, just ask. Best regards.---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 20:55, 22 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
