Please provide a source to your claim that the one who supposedly conferred the title to Tychsen was not Rabbi Jonathan Eybeschütz but Rabbi Moshe Lifshitz (whoever that was). Otherwise, it's you against The Jewish Encyclopedia, and most people would tend to believe The Jewish Encyclopedia. Thanks for understanding, -- -- -- 18:52, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- A copy of the original document was published in Tychsen's own book, And there it is said that the rabbi was Moshe ben Zvi Hirsch Lifshitz (unknown person)
