Citing sources

edit

Hi. Please cite a page number when you add a source. It becomes very difficult to check if there is support for a claim when no page number is included within a cite, as searching the book may not be helpful when something is paraphrased. This creates problems with verification, and policy specifies that all information must be verifiable (Wikipedia:Verifiability). Thanks for your contribution to the project. Responded to yours. Short version, check that paraphrasing of sources is correct. Best, VєсrumЬаTALK 16:46, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:03, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
