Zygoner is the alternate alias for Zygon, AKA Douglas Becker. Zygon is an alias that was invented by Douglas Becker somewhere around 1990, and was the result of simply thinking about some word that sounded like an alien from another planet and something "computer-ish". This was back in the days of computer BBS's (invented in 1978, users communicated to each other taking turns since the central computer was only accessible via modem.)
Douglas Becker was born in Pointe-Claire, Quebec on November 20th, 1967. His father, Allan Becker, and mother May Becker (Cléments or Payne) were both born in Campbellton, New Brunswick. His father was in management at C.A.E. Electronics in Dorval, Quebec and mother taught school at St. Charles Elementary in Pierrefonds, Quebec. The Beckers brought their first boy and last child from the hospital in Pointe Claire to their home at 4396 Champagne in Pierrefonds, to greet his three sisters: Lisa Becker (Gomes) Patti Becker and Vicki Becker (Poulin.)
