editUrban Nerds Collective is a London based marketing agency that connects brands with youth audiences.
Company history
editIn 2007 Urban Nerds was born with the sole intention of promoting underground UK music genres (Grime music, UK Garage and UK Bass) and talent. Between 2007 and 2013, Urban Nerds hosted a series of live events, festival stages and warehouse parties in the UK and around Europe. Talent including Gorgon City, Hannah Wants, Katy B and Tinchy Stryder were showcased by Urban Nerds and pushed through the underground.
In 2013, Urban Nerds Collective was established as an extension of Urban Nerds. The initial aim of the collective was to establish a network of individuals representing all aspects of music promotion. This included photographers, artists, journalists, bloggers, film-makers and designers.
Urban Nerds Collective has since made a transition into becoming a youth marketing agency.
