Hello, I'm Steve Black. Usually known on the interwebs as zenstat. This comes from a book I was once planning on the Zen of Statistics. Fortunately several other people (yes I know, citations needed -- the list is on my site) have written suitable books which cover the area and audience I was thinking about so I'm off the hook. But my name stuck. I'm a retired statistician (PhD researcher in a few Universities and a few Private Companies over the decades). Now I have turned my hand to documenting cymbals of various sorts. That's partly because my hand (and other parts) wore out so I'm not able to actually perform percussion any more.

After the Paiste-Only Wiki (and associated Forum) went offline I created a new Wiki where a group of us are reconstructing the lost P-O Wiki plus adding a lot more research.
Cymbal Wiki has a larger scope than the original Paiste-Only Wiki and will cover all brands.
I have started restructuring my Avedis Zildjian and K Zildjian Istanbul info into Cymbal Wiki but progress is slow.
