Zedrick Wafula Simiyu was born on 10/27/1993 in Bungoma County, Western part of Kenya. Hailing from a humble background, with his band brother Paul, Zedrick would hardly be seen separate from his brother. They have lived as band mates through their tender years. Their original family background being the Bukusu sub-tribe of the Luhya people of Kenya, the Bantu-speaking community.

Zedrick went to Kibabii High School, after which he joined the University of Kabianga for a bachelor's degree in Public Administration, graduating in 2016. Zedrick enrolled for a masters degree in the University of Nairobi, the same year 2016, pursuing Public Administration and Government Policy option.

He is an Evangelical Christian, engaged to Merceline Anyango, with whom they engaged shortly after their bachelor's studies at the University of Kabianga. Together with His family, he leads his life as a dedicated, God-fearing Christian, although who specifically, does not cite a particular Christian dominion. Accruing from the circumstance of the time, reportedly, Zedrick, found it good to advocate for people's reliance on God than their over-dependence on individual dominions, which at the time, had brought many divisive campaigns. With Merceline, they celebrate their lives as a young couple, dedicated Christians, classmates, and couple writers.

As a fact, the greater influence of Zedrick's life and direction seem to have been anchored on his biological band brother Chrispinus Simiyu,(particularly known as Paul), who too, is an Evangelical preacher, an entrepreneur, and online venture. Zedrick claims to get most of the impetus from him, whom, for a greater part, stay together, and own a similar company; LighthouseScribers. Besides, most of their joy is accentuated through their brotherhood and Christianity.

Besides, Zedrick is best known as a prominent blogger, with the specific field in Academic writing and transcription. This is the field they enjoy most. He has written several publications, the notable one being: "Impacts of Domestic Violence on Children's Functionality: Case Study Dagorretti Sub-county."
