I like comics. I don't collect them, but I keep buying them off and on, and so I've accumulated quite a few.
I am in the minority, I believe, in my belief that cartoonists and comics creators are good people. I've met a few and I think they're alright. Most of them aren't really hurting anybody, anyway.
I prefer underground, small press or alternative comics to mainstream comic books. I liked superheroes when I was a teenager, but outgrew them by the time I got to college. For some reason they just seemed boring after a while.
I am a teacher. My wife and I enjoy working with talented kids and helping them learn.
