Zan is a college student studying Comparative Literature at the University of Virginia. She is easily excited by T.S. Eliot, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Anthony Burgess. This year she will be working on a thesis on sexuality in Existentialism; specifically, Simone de Beauvoir's L'Invitée and Alberto Moravia's La Noia.
She has been well-educated on Poststructuralism, Literary Theory, and Feminism; and is discovering an interest in Orientalism.
She is coming into her second year as an intern at Live Wire Press, and looks forward to being the editor of another short story anthology. This experience allows her to believe she can speak grammar at a near-native level.
In her free-time, she tries to maintain some semblance of regularity at her blog.
