Zalfa Nassar has over 20 years of experience in audit, finance and taxation.

She consults extensively with clients on business valuations, merger and acquisitions, tax planning, accounting, and management.

Starting her career in Ernest & Young, Zalfa Nassar advanced to supervisor in their tax consultancy and audit divisions.

Zalfa then became a senior audit partner for AGN Serhal Nassar & Co, a leading audit firm in Lebanon.

During her career, Zalfa Nassar has instructed classes at the national and regional levels and was a frequent speaker and lecturer for various auditing training sessions for several organizations and syndicates.

Zalfa contributed to over 35 publications on a wide variety of audit and tax consultancy topics.


Her key roles and responsibilities include:

· Building highly-skilled and achievement-oriented team environment;

· Establishing strategies to carry out comprehensive audit plans;

· Overseeing all phases of audit and tax, review and compilation engagements;

· Making a contribution to assurance engagements in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA);

· Performing risk assessments for planning and developing audit strategies in response to clients’ business and financial risks;

· Understanding clients’ businesses and provide appropriate audit services to meet clients’ expectations.

· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge about company standards, policies and regulations;

· Addressing clients’ concerns and escalate complex issues to management for immediate resolution;

· Developing innovative ideas to extent client services;

· Maintaining positive and long-term relationships with clients;

· Providing support to ensure timely completion of audit projects;

· Assisting in developing company standards to improve effectiveness and quality of deliverables;

· Developing new client contacts for business growth;

· Attending client meetings and staying abreast with industry trends;

· Working with clients, lawyers and regulatory authorities in sensitive and adversarial situations;

· Helping prepare final deliverables such as audit reports, management letters, business review memorandums and other expert reports.
