MY NORTHERN ACHIEVER
This page is created to acknowledge individuals in Northern Ghana who have contributed greatly to the socio-economic development of the country. First of all let us look at one of our personalities, MacCarthy Mag-Gbathy, the CEO and founder of HOPin Academy. HOPin Academy is an entrepreneurship eco-support organization that was started in 2013 to curb the problem of rural-urban migration amongst the youth in Northern Ghana in particular. As a young person who saw the problem as something that affects the development of the region, he had the passion to start the organization to curb this problem. The organization has a lot of programs that bulds the capacities of the yoyth to prepare them for the job market and their future which would contribute to poverty alleviation and economic growth. MacCarthy has been recognized for his good works by so many people and the youth also look up to him.
