Group (2002) is an independent experimental feature film starring Carrie Brownstein of Portlandia, Lola Rock N'Rolla, and Nomy Lamm, and is produced and directed by Marilyn Freeman and Anne de Marcken. Group premiered theatrically in 2002 on July 5th at Manhattan's City Cinemas Village East (12th Street and 2nd Avenue) in New York City. It played in 10 major cities domestically and screened in festivals worldwide.Group is distributed by Frameline and was released on DVD in 2009 and on-demand in 2011.
