The Kalahari Xeric Savanna is an Ecoregion in the Afrotropical realm, defined by WWF, that occurs in the nations of Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.
Descripción
editThe Kalahari Xeric Savanna is a Deserts and xeric shrublandsecoregion. It occupies 588,100 square km in the most arid zone of the Kalahari, in the southeast of Namibia, the southwest of Botswana and the north of South Africa.
It is bordered on the northeast by the Angolan mopane woodlands, to the northeast by the Kalahari acacia–baikiaea woodlands, to the east by the Bushveld, to the southeast by the Highveld grasslands, to the south by the Nama Karoo, and to the west by the Namibian savanna woodlands.
