Welcome to the second issue of the Cartoon Network WikiProject newsletter.

We've pretty much settled in to the new project framework, and most of the kinks have been worked out. If you see something you'd like added, changed, or just general comments, please talk on the project talk page

Memberships

We've had a couple of new members add their names to the membership list, so if you feel like saying hello, feel free. If you know of anyone else who might be interested in joining, please tell them about us.

Issues

We've had a couple of new issues arise, one leading to our very first RFC-like comment on the notice board!

Template:Cartoon Network Original Series

There has been some back-and-forth about the templates tagged at the bottom of all the Cartoon Network pages. There are currently two, Template:Cartoon Network Original Series and Template:Cartoon Network co-productions. This has been discussed several times, but somehow, it still comes up. Currently, a decision has been made that discussion of future changes to Template:Cartoon Network Original Series are on hold until the airing of The Cartoonstitute when we will require a rethink of the template's structure.

Ed, Edd n Eddy

We cringe to mention this one, because it's been an all-out edit war to some degrees between the more militant fans of the show and editors here, but at least the time for critical mass has expired. The only last issue we can foresee is the issue between wether or not the upcoming finale will be in the form of a movie, tentatively titled "Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show" or a sixth season. Like previous episodes and seasons argument, this has been added, removed, and so on, more times than we can count and even led to an article being salted. If anyone has reliable information on the final season/movie situation, place it on the talk page.

Transformers: Animated

For some time now, there has been high activity on this article, much more than most other articles we overlook. Sadly, most of that has come from fly-by "fanboi" anon edits and a substantial amount of those been directed into the character bios leaving it bloated with most of the article being this list, rife with badly written descriptions and concerns about original research from the more dedicated editors. A conversation has been started for a split of the article to divert attention towards maintaining the article correctly which you may put your input on the article's talkpage.
