Rwanda is a developing country which is still recovering from the civil war that took place in 1994. Land is one of the most fundamental resources the country has and most of the income of the contry comes from agriculture. The land in Rwanda is not big enough to accommodate a high population, this puts pressure on the land, causing soil erosion and overutilization of resouces. To deal with the current land reform the Ministry of Lands, Human settlement and Environmental Protection has to develop new land laws and information systems to store information in a database to improve land management.
