William Kiptoo is a Kenyan practitioner, trainer and researcher of peacebuilding and conflict transformation. He has worked extensively in in designing and implementing grassroots peacebuilding initiatives in his native Rift Valley province of Kenya and in different parts of Africa.

A graduate of peace studies program at the University of Norte Dame, Indiana, United States, William has taught peacebuilding courses at the Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute, Philippines and trained many participants in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia. His interests includes psycho-social counseling in peacebuilding, Monitoring and Evaluation, organizational leadership and management, public policy advocacy, transitional justice and peace research. His previous engagements include work with the Mennonite Central Committee in Kenya, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK.
