I'm an infrequent and inexperienced editor. Because of this I make more Talk page edits than article edits (which tend to be minor corrections in any event).

COI disclosure edit

I'm a network engineer and system administrator by trade. I also do freelance work for Radical Honesty (where I was formerly CEO).

I was formerly an anti-GMO activist, dating back to the early 1990s when I was a college student (well before "GMO" terminology existed). Around 2010 as a result of learning the practice of scientific skepticism I began revising my beliefs on the basis of evidence and have since dissociated from the anti-GMO movement.

I serve on the board of directors of SkeptiForum and have a special interest in correcting misinformation about such topics as genetic engineering, chemicals and "toxins", vaccines, alternative medicine, evolution, conspiracy theories and other popular topics in the broader skeptic community.

I have or had a couple other accounts that were mainly in existence because my editing was so sporadic that I forgot my login info and created a new one. DeadElvis is the only one I still have credentials for, but I have no particular reason to use it now.
