About Me edit
The name WoodyJoe is taken from a Gaslight Anthem song, 'I'da Called You Woody, Joe'. I am a professional historian in my 40s, and I write articles for academic journals and for encyclopedias. I have a MA, MPhil, PhD and LLB from UK universities and am a member of two Royal learned societies. On Wikipedia I only contribute to articles on bands that I like, as I believe that such articles should be as accurate and informative as articles on more academic subjects.
