Woodman School Project
In order to learn about the history of Woodman school, web-editing, and the way that Wikipedia works, the 7th and 8th grade class will make their own Wikipedia page for Woodman school.
This will be a collaborative group project. Everyone will have a group, and every group will have a different job.
Remember the purpose of this page is to represent the history and people of woodman. Please take this project seriously.
* Page Design
- Overall page design and outline.
- Write introduction and any other material required.
- Coordinate between groups.
- History
- Write and research a short history of Woodman School.
- Upload and edit this section of the page.
* Images/Demographic Information
- Collect images for the page.
- Work with all groups to provide information that will work with their content.
- Edit and upload images to webpage.
- Write captions that describe and explain your images.
- Collect information basic about the school.
- Create a side table on the page that presents this information.
Group Responsibilities
- Each group will write some content for the page.
- Each group will be responsible for uploading the content and they create.
- Each group must provide references and properly cite information on the page.
- Each group will be responsible for the quality of the content they provide. This includes the accuracy of information provided, spelling, grammar and over all aesthetics.
