Lindy Tsang, or Bubzbeauty, (born on December 6 1986) is an Irish born fashion and beauty blogger, vlogger, make up artist, and business woman. Tsang is best known for her beauty and fashion channel on Youtube called Bubzbeauty.

Early Life

Tsang was born in Belfast, United Kingdom. Her parents are both Northern Irish Chinese immigrants but Tsang was brought up by her grandma, who is Hakka.[1]. Tsang has three siblings, Claire Tsang, her older sister, April Tsang, her younger sister, and Ricky Tsang, her younger brother.[2]

Career and Education

In 2007, Tsang graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in graphic design[3]. After graduating from University, she worked full time at her parent's restaurant, The Royal Thai Restaurant[3].

Tsang began her Youtube career in 2008 and her first video, "Dance It Out", which was uploaded on September 9th 2008[4]. Tsang began uploading make up tutorials providing instructions on "everyday make up looks", subsequently expanding to include beauty haul videos and collaborations. In 2010, Tsang became a Youtube partner[3]. As of November 2016, Tsang accumulated over 2 million subscribers to her "Bubzbeauty" Youtube channel and over 414,000,000 views. Her vlog channel, Bubzvlogz, has generated almost 1 million subscribers to date and over 210,000,000 views. Tsang has over 400,000 on Twitter and over 800,000 followers on Instagram. Tsang has done many collaborations on her channel with other Youtubers, including: Jason Chen, Secret Life of A Bio Nerd, Wong Fu Productions, Blogilates and many more.

After Tsang's sudden growth in popularity on Youtube, she moved to Hong Kong in 2010[3].

Bubbi

In 2012, Tsang created her own cosmetic brush and t-shirt range, called Bubbi. In 2013, she launched the Bubbi Range II Brushes.[3]

Pencils of Promise

In August 2015, Tsang partnered with Pencils of Promise, a global education nonprofit, to build two schools in Laos.[5] One school was consecrated the Saen Oudom Primary School (translated Beauty of Knowledge) and the other school was named Tad Thong Preschool[5]. In 2015, she raised over $50,000 by selling "corny poo" sweaters for the schools. Carlo Dumandan, Pencils of Promise's Senior Marketing Manager, said "because of Lindy's support, two communities in Laos have brand new schools and over 300 students now have access to a quality learning environment".[5] Tsang traveled to Laos from January 9th 2016 - January 13th 2016 to visit the Laos community.

In 2016, Tsang, will be partnering with Pencils of Promise to build three schools in Ghana[6]. Tsang, who signed with StyleHaul, will sell t-shirts that read "This shirt built a school", as well as an eyeshadow palette partnered with BH Cosmetics where 100% of the proceeds from the t-shirt sales and $2 from the sale of every palette will be donated to Pencils of Promise[6]. Tsang is hoping to raise $150,000 to fund the schools and her goal is to "provide hundreds of children with safe, structurally sound learning environment so that they can achieve a quality education and realize their promise"[6]. Tsang continues to state that "together, we are truly changing the lives of kids and communities around the world"[6].

Rightster

Tsang recently visited Istabul to participate in the #FortuneTraveller travel vlog campaign by Rightster and Turkish Airlines[6].

StyleHaul

Tsang is also continuously working with StyleHaul on their new web series for release on Verison's go90 platform.[5]

Personal Life

Tsang has been with her long time partner, Timothy Ng, since 2003, the couple married on August 11 2013. She welcomed a son, Isaac Ng, a year after the marriage[1].

Tsang currently lives in Belfast, United Kingdom with her husband, two dogs, and her 2 year old son.[1]
