I am a published historian, a poet, a genealogist and a musician. I am originally from the U.K. but am now a proudly a citizen of Canada, living in Ottawa, Ontario. citizen. As a I specialize in Canadian history; my poetry is eclectic from haiku to situational realism; my genealogy blends the paper-trail with genetic evidence; and I play banjo, keyboards and mouth harps. I am a keen fisherman and spend my summers beside the red cliffs of Prince Edward Island. My background is in energy science and technology; however in my retirement I am using the other side of my brain except when renovating the house!
