My name edit

My name comes from a shortened version of my real name, Winston, and then "Mei", which was a close online friend that I had who disappeared after her high school friends turned against her about 3 years ago. Subsequently she deleted all her online accounts and any trace of online presence. I haven't been able to ever reconnect with her, so my username is dedicated to Mei.

october 25 edit

I just got back to editing Wikipedia and am not familiar with all the policies and stuff yet. So, please do contact me on my talk page if there is an issue (for example I know I incorrectly marked a few edits as minor after reading Help:Minor edit. Additionally, if you've reverted one of my edits, a reason so I can improve in the future is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

todos for 2022 edit

- pick a good topic; make an article on it (or expand the current stub for it); nurse it to good health i.e did you know -> GA -> featured (yes this is very ambitious) - expand Choux pastry (my other fun project for this year)

Citation footnotes

Use the <ref> tag to add references to your articles presented as footnotes. This tag is easy and convenient because it allows you to cite your sources within your text and have them automatically numbered and added to your References section at the end of the article. To cite a source, simply type the <ref> tag after the statement the reference is for.

For example: Haliburton park is the largest park in the world.<ref>Bill Harton (2005). http://www.linkhere.com. Retrieved March 3, 2005.</ref> Then, at the end of your article, add the following template to include all of the citations in your article: {{Reflist}} directly under the References or Notes section title.
