My name is John, aka William of Baskerville, I live in Kentucky and I love to learn. I'm interested in literature, particularly works of fiction that are philosophical, ambiguous and subtle, fountain pens, technology, science and how it can make individual lives better (most recently materials science), film, coffee, Japan (cinema and aesthetics), taxation, the history of philosophy and the Holocaust, to name a few. I jump around a lot, maybe a little too much. I try to read a book every two weeks-time permitting. I work full time doing accounting and legal work.
