Jimbo Awards is an idea of something I have had for quite a while. The awards would be 'given' to users who do remarkable and outstanding work throughout Wikipedia. The users would be nominated by someone, and then a committee would secretly vote (maybe through e-mail) on who would get the prize. The Jimbo Awards come from the Nobel Peace Prize, and would be very much like that. They would be given out once or twice a year. The categories would be as follows:
- The Jimbo Peace Prize
- The Jimbo Mediator Award
- The Jimbo EditMaster Award
etc.
