My purpose of wikipedia is to ensure that Wikipedia can start to become a credible source.
Many people within the education system are ignoring wikipedia due to its ease of editing. However, the more and more wikipedia is advancing, the more reliable it is becoming. I believe this can only happen when the sources listed. As a graduate with a major that requires a lot of evidence based research using peer reviewed articles and sources up to 5 years, I take researching very seriously.
Wikipedia may not be the perfect source for research, but with proper sources it can be useful for individuals who want to enter higher education.
Area of Interest edit
My area of interest is conflict resolution. Within this world there are many conflicts, which in turn requires that much more resolution. Leaders such as Mandela, MLK Jr., Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Dalai Lama and etc. have been able to spend their lives advocating resolution of all issues within the world.
I am also interested in world religions. The world is filled many religions, but there are many new religious movements that have been appearing within the last decade. I am interested as many of the religions today once started as a small movement and has grown to what we know the religion today. I hope to recognize movements and look further into what the beliefs are.
