Nariman Hamed is an Iranian-American film director, producer, and editor based in NYC. He is best known for his work as a producer with prominent artists and directing and producing commercials, films and documentaries such as Skatehood. Hamed was featured in Vanity Fair article on 11 Persians in New York who are introducing Iranian culture to the US[1 1].
Early life
editBorn and raised in Tehran, Iran, Hamed has deep roots in the film industry. His mother is Iranian prominent actress Fatemeh Motamed Arya and his father is Ahmad Ali hamed, an Iranian producer, writer, showrunner and occasional actor.
Career
editIn addition to his work as a director and producer Hamed is the head of content at "Invisible North"., an integrated advertising and marketing agency and he has also co-founded "Select Studio"., a production house in NYC.
