Welcome! My first serious editing job was a solid refinement of the plot of The Vegetarian (I'm interested in modern literature). I found it refreshing to contribute to Wikipedia when for so long I had taken from it. Since then I have learned the value of adding to Wikipedia rather than deleting and critiquing those who would give to it. As my name suggests, I am wary of the impulse to erase or alter for the sake of doing so. It is much more difficult and honourable to create than to destroy.
