editMy Name is Brian Shelby, I have used or recieved the aliases of Shelby and Freshman. I am currently a Junior at Murray State University, located in Murray, Kentucky. I am enrolled in the Telecommunications Systems Management program at the university. I was born in Murray, and have lived in Memphis, Tennessee and Wingo, Kentucky.

Comics are a lifelong obsession of mine. I recieved my first comic book in 1990, The Marvel Superheros Winter Special. Currently I read from the Marvel Universe; X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men, New Excalibur, Astonishing X-Men, Wolverine, Daredevil, Marvel Knights 4, Amazing Spider-Man, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Cable and Deadpool, New Avengers, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimates, Ultimate Fantastic Four. From DC I read Superman, Batman, Superman/Batman, JLA, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Teen Titans, and The Outsiders. I've read virtually every issue of Uncanny X-Men and X-Men, most of Amazing Spider-Man, and every important Batman storyline. My interest in comics began greatly from my Uncle's influence, he also collected comics though my collection has far surpassed his. I don't consider myself much of an artist but the influence of art and what few skills I have encourage the affection for comics I have.
Movies are another addiction my favorites are too many to list off, however my elite favorites are Memento, Fight Club, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, Star Wars episodes 4-6, X-Men, X2, Dodgeball, Zoolander, Waiting..., Saw & Saw 2, Army of Darkness, Monty Python's Holy Grail and Meaning of Life.
