Baker House is a dormitory in Boston on the campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It was designed by the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto when he was a professor at MIT in 1946.[1]
The meandering building is on the banks of the Charles River. Aalto designed it so as to seek to find ways of maximizing the view of the river for the students. On the north side are the stairway systems.[2]
