Walter Wellington Pitt III (born July 16, 1959 is an American film director, writer & producer. He wrote and directed “Undercover of Darkness”, “Welcome Back Mr. Fox”, music videos for The Psychedelic Furs, Justice & KRS-ONE, The Spectacualrs, Dan Hill and Vonda Sheppard, and televsion commercials. He has produced work in NewYork, Paris, London, Los Angeles, Miami, & Minneapolis.
Walter was born in Brooklyn New York, the son of Walter W. Pitt Jr. and Helen K. Tietjen.
He is a descendant of William Pitt the Elder and Bennidict Arnold. His fisrt american desendant Israel Pitt came to the US as an indentured servant working for silver smiths Bradford and Bradford.
