Enduring Success: What We Can Learn from the History of Outstanding Corporations is a 2011 management book written by Christian Stadler[1]. The book outlines the results of a six-year research project of companies that survived for more than 100 years and outperformed the general market ((Dow Jones, DAX, FTSE) by the factor 15 or more over a period of 50 years.[2] The author suggests that successful companies adapted to a constantly changing environment by being intelligently conservative.[3]

Initial findings from the project (published in the Harvard Business Review) were critized in a similar manner as Built to Last by Phil Rosenzweig. Rosenzweig argues that dependent and independent variable are not sufficiently seperate.[9]
