Waenishikusu is the Japanese word for "Phoenix". I'm quite fascinated with Japanese culture, history and society, and I love phoenix's. I'm particularily fixated on the Chinese Phoenix "Fenghuang". Unfortunately, I'm starting to think my name doesn't mean anything..Romaji - English translations yield no results. It's gibberish, possibly. <_<;

I am a devote Christian, and a supporter of creationism and the bible. I enjoy studying theology, philosophy, archaeology, paleontology, and mathematical odds. I sometimes find biology intriguing, though mostly on the cellular level. Philosophy is definately one of my stronger points. I tend to greatly dislike bias of any sort, that included within my own religion. I don't really follow a particular denomination of the Church, as I don't fully agree with any of them. I believe what I simply find the evidence merits. I follow the bible and God, so I'm not much concerned with any type of tradition.

Second to God, the martial arts are the most important thing to me. I practice a mixed martial arts style, if you can call it that, takes a little of wing chun, a little of muay thai, a little of boxing, animal styles, a lot of brazillian jiujitsu (two of our instructers are certified in gracie jiujitsu, we could actually get our black belt at another studio, if we leaned it there). We are also trained to use kali sticks, bo staff, nunchaku, and shinai (I'm not a black sash member, so I'm not into weapons). Most of my long term goals revolve around the martial arts. I'm generally very annoyed by groups and systems that cling so stubbornly to tradition that any evolution within the style ceases entirely. I also hold strong to the opinion that there are no useless styles. Just useless practicioners who refuse to build on it's potential. Styles are made useless by simple men, crammed and distorted by the classical mess. Other styles I intend to incorporate into my system of fighting are catch wrestling, judo, bando, savate, phoenix kung fu (<3 phoenix's =D), monkey kung fu, ninjutsu, but marma atti, battojutsu, kenjutsu, and Lathi. However, I only take what I see to be the key aspects of certain styles. Otherwise it would be a useless mish-mash of all sorts of nonsense. "The hight of cultivation is simplicity" -Bruce Lee

I love anime and manga as well. My favorites are Bleach, Gundam Seed, and Gundam Seed Destiny. I'm am also a moderator on www.myfavoritegames.com, under the acount of SS2 Vegeto (chosen back in the day of my dbz fandom).
