The Vox Jaguars are an American rock band that formed in Santa Cruz, California in 2006. The group was formed by Jordan Topf (vocals, guitar), Noah Bond (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mason Rosenberg (bass guitar) and Trevor Hope (drums, percussion).[1] Jordan Topf acts as their main songwriter. They have released their debut EP (Vox Jaguars – EP), on February 10, 2009. Two of the members are still in high school.[who?] Their sound is unique due to the organ in their songs (player not credited on their releases as an official band member). They are currently signed to Anodyne Records.[1] They are known for their energetic live performances.[neutrality is disputed] The song Swagger[disambiguation needed], from the first EP, has been featured on the television program Canterbury's Law. They have said that they are looking forward to release their debut full-length album at the end of summer of 2009.[citation needed] The Vox Jaguars have been part of the wave of the garage rock revival. They have influenced many indie artists in the Santa Cruz area of California, such as No Age and Foreign Born. No Age has named them the "favorite new band".[1]
