An 18-20 piece 1930s, New Orleans themed stage musical show. Created by actor Andy Comeau and his wife Dawn Lewis, the Los Angeles based act peforms almost every week somewhere in town. The group plays many private, corporate and charity events as well as local nightclubs. The show is heavily influenced by Comeau's upbringing and of his time spent in Louisiana. It began as an homage to family legend, Vaud Comeaux, who was a revivalist charlatan turned preacher in Louisiana in the 1930s. The group has performed at House of Blues Sunset Strip, The El Rey Theater, The Edison Downtown, Fais Do Do, and the entire run of Cirque Berzerk's "Beneath" show in LA Historic Park the summer of 2009. The show is a hybrid of a musical, a play and a concert and is comprised of a core group of 16 musicians and two dancers. Band website: [1]
