Reflection:

Throughout this process I have learned a lot about Wikipedia and the extensive process users and editors go through to publish good articles. I think the idea of Wikipedia is great, a place in which so many people can come together and make additions to articles of interest. I was able to learn the editing side of Wikipedia pretty fast however there is definitely room for improvement in a certain areas like sourcing and Wikipedia style writing. It was nice having others to work on the article with because we all had our own contributions. It was also nice getting feedback from other Wikipedians it made the learning curve easier as their constructive edits pointed us in the right direction. It was hard to get use to others coming in and editing our page I am used to writing essays and term papers where I am the sole author. Wikipedia is a community based resource so the solo writing must be thrown out the window. Overall I think this was a good learning experience about creating a research paper and writing in conjunction with a variety of other people.
