Viwe Biko ,also known as Maveg on radio industry.He was born on 8 August 1991 in King william’s town, is a young man who grew up in Alice.He is a last born in his family. When he was 9 years old he had a dream being a radio presenter and he was inspired by Putco Mafani(Mhlobo wenene fm presenter). Maveg matriculated from Mpambani Mzimba high school in 2011.He then went on to study information technology(IT)at Stanford college now known as Icollege in East london and also studied radio broadcasting at collegeSA.
In 2012 he heard on radio about trufm auditions(searching presenters).He went to take a chance on the auditions but he did’nt make it because he was very nervous and he was the first time to auditioned.
In 2013 into his studies he got an opportunity to be a radio presenter in kumkani community radio.Where he was doing a three month training,after the training he awarded as”Best radio presenter”.
On 01 August 2013 he joined fortefm as a co-host presenter of afternoon drive(Khwela sigoduke show) with Soso.After a month he joined fortefm,the fortefm management they gave him another show called “Pyjam Jam show” because of his potential.
On 31 October 2013 he left fortefm because of his personal reasons and joined again kumkanifm.In kumkanifm he was doing a traditional show called”Sigida ngengoma kwantu”.
On 01 Janaury 2014 he returned to fortefm and went on to host the drive time slot and weekend breakfast show.Today presents and producer the afternoon drive and weekend breakfast show.”Being with forte fm means everything to me”
