Vontus is an American alternative rock power trio from Queensbury and Saratoga Springs, NY. The band performs often in the Saratoga Springs area, covering many popular artists such as Pearl Jam, The Dave Matthews Band, and Queen, and also playing their own original songs. To date the band has released one EP, entitled "Eyes Closed And Spinning." ^[1]

History

In 2012 and 2013, the band became a finalist for the SPAC Battle of the Bands.^[2] In 2012, they placed second, and they came out on top in 2013, winning the Audience Choice Award. ^[3] Vontus posts many of their performances on YouTube, gaining as many as 20,000 views. Guitarist Johnny Gravitt has over 5 million hits on his personal page. ^[1]
