This page was originally an attempt to draft a set of uniform rules to transliterate Tamil words into the Latin script for article titles. There were a number of problems with my proposals, and given that the whole issue of the 'correct' pronunciation of Tamil is pretty fraught, nothing much is likely to come of it, so the proposals are no longer on this page.
