My username comes from Heinrich Schenker's term for "fundamental structure."
Actually, the term "Ursatz" on Wikipedia currently redirects to an unbelievably awful article on Schenkerian Analysis. At some point, I assume, people who know what they are talking about will update it.
UPDATE: It now redirects to "Fundamental Structure" -- a stub which provides no improvement on the former redirection.
