Okahitua is a small village situated about 30 km from Okakarara, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia. It has thirty homesteads and a population of about 120 inhabitants.

School

There is one primary school that ranges from grade one up to grade eight. The school does not have a hostel, thus the learners usually to come from their houses to school every morning. There are ten teachers at the school, and one matron that takes care of the learners during school hours.

In Okahitua there is a big earth dam that is perennial. This dam provides water to the school as well as to the garden of the school. The village's community hruns a big garden that gets water from this dam as well.
