On this day, 100 years or so ago the Ovaherero and the Damara ethnic groups were killed at the hands of the german rule.[1]. Their heads were removed from their bodies and were taken back to germany for research purposes.[2]. They were kept in the Berlin Historical Mueseum.[3].
