The Native American Inventors Association, or NAIA, is a non-profit organization founded in 2009. It is based in the USA and dedicated to promoting and assisting inventors and innovators within the Native American community.

The primary force behind the establishment of the NAIA was Thomas David Petite, a successful Native American inventor and the driving force behind the development of the Smart meter

Mission

The NAIA provides direct support to Native American inventors to assist them in the realization of their ideas and to help them bring their inventions to market.
