Karl McCarthy, born 1928?, Limerick (or Cork?), Ireland, was an Irish road racing cyclist, and later a cycle sport administrator, holding office at club and national level in Irish cycling for more than 15 years, including as President of the national cycling body.
McCarthy was also a chemist, founding brewing- and agri-chem firm Biocel in Cork.
