I am, as of now, studying to be a high school teacher in North Carolina. I have my B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from UNC Chapel Hill and plan on getting my M.A. in Polical Science from Appalachian State University simply because I can make 12% more money on the North Carolina Public Educator pay scale with the graduate degree. I haven't yet applied or been accepted to a graduate program but it is unlikely I'll be denied.
