Help for flood victims in the northen parts of Namibia not enough

The namibian newspaper reported that, it has been said the resources made available for the assistance of flood victims are not enough for the division of help and shipping of those who are cut off by the flood water:it also states that the govorner for oshana region Klemens kashuupulwa said "the Flood Emergency Coordinator’s Office for all six northern regions will open at Oshakati today"(shivute 2011). The govorner also mentioned the need of food,tents,blankets,life jackets just to mention but a few, he also went on to highlight the pleasing for contributions and also mentioned that the private sector handed out some contributions already. The newspaper also reported that theres been complains of food stuff not gettin to those who left their home due to floods and are now temporary residing in camps. The namibian also reported on the govorners saying that the first contributions will be given to schools were teachrs and leaners are camping. the govorner also made a promise that "Once larger consignments of food aid are received from the Prime Minister’s office, these would be distributed to flood relocation centres, where orphans and vulnerable children will be the priority "(shivute 2011),as for the those in the temporary resendential flood centers they can still live on as they did when they lived in their homes said kashuupulwa, he also went on to say that for those whos properties were ruined , the harm is being assesd and will be reported to the Flood Emergency Coordinator.
