Lord Budharaja Lord Budharaja was appeared in Ampani village many years ago.From the history it is said that a farmer was ploughing his land at that time the anchor hited with a one type of stone.So the farmer dug this stone but he couldn't.The stone was the Lord Budharaja.Science that day the lord Budharaja is worshiped.A temple was built there.This day when the God was born is celebrated by Budharaja Dushra. Ampani Karak Map Karak Waterfall Karak Waterfall is a famous visiting place of Ampani,Kalahandi. It is situated west direction 6 kilometres away from Ampani Bus Stand. This waterfall has covered by a thick forest.In this forest many animals (like tiger,bear,monkey,wolf,deer,hog,elk etc.) and birds(like dove,vulture,parrot,peacock,falcon,kingfisher etc.) live. The jungle is studded with trees of all sorts.Among them peepal tree,pagoda(champak)tree,saguan tree,cedar tree,acacia,babul tree,date palm,tobacoo plant,cypress tree,banyan tree and mango tree are found there.Now-a-days intending to get wood many no. of wood cutter are cutting the trees extremely. As a result of the no. of trees are decreasing,the environment being spoilt.The people living in nearby area are hunting the wild aniamals for their livelihood.In this way the wild animals become extinct. Here water is used in agriculture.For this a agriculture canal has built and by this canal the water is supplied in different land.The waterfall has divided into 3 number of drop. Number Of Drops First Karak The begining of the water fall is named as First Karak.First Karak is about 50feet(15.14)m heigh and it is the largest water fall of others.It is covered by the thick forest. A Elephant Foot print on a stone is seen in the First Karak.It is a spectacul place for visiting.Every year many people come here from different places to have a picnic. Second Karak Second Karak is the 2nd largest water fall is about 40feet(12.129)m height.It is situated above the First Karak.It is also a nice place.In 2013 there is appeared Nilakantheswar Mahadev,figure of stone and being worshiped by people.Here a Bheem Foot print is situated.
