Hello, my name is Bartek, I'm from Warsaw, Poland. 20-years-old. Nothing special about me! I'm mainly interested and specialize in:

Linguistics

Linguistic typology, morphology, comparative linguistics, semiotics and writing systems . I'm willing to learn virtually any language. I've had some experiences to this moment with: Polish, English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Chinese, Persian, Italian, Korean, German. I won't be even trying to assess my abilities in those languages, let's say this is a best to worst list, starting from Polish which is my native language and ending up with German which I was learning in elementary school and right now I can say no more than: "Guten Tag, ich heise Bartek, ich komme aus Polen, ich bin zehn jahre alt."

East Asian and Middle Eastern cultures

I'm quite knowledgeable in Japanese traditions, religions, traditional culture and art. I've been also interested in traditional Chinese culture and art. I'm new on the field of Persian studies and I passionately learn new things about Iranian and Arabic cultures.

Industrial design and architecture

I'm very fond of Oskar Hansen and his theories on art and society. Generally, I'm really interested in the sociological and ecological aspects of modern art and various theories on sustainable development. I'm a huge proponent of open-source EVERYTHING, fair design, fair society, fair humanity in general.
